Gorse Hill Infants School, Swindon
200 children were each given 2 blocks of wood and were asked to
sand, undercoat then paint an abstract image onto their blocks.
We then attached all 400 blocks onto a background that we prepared out of exterior ply which had been undercoated and framed.
We then finished with yatch varnish.
The finished mural creates a pleasant feature adding
to the ambience of the schools "Quiet Area".
The project was carried out during an Ofstead inspection.
