Oaktree School, Swindon
Pupils were asked what they wanted to be when they grew up. We then drew round each one onto plywood. After cutting out, sanding and priming the shapes, each child then painted their own sculpture.
Julia Drown, local M.P was invited along and is seen above joining in.
The finished sculptures (all 75 of them) were attached to the school fence and there was an unveiling ceremony during the Summer of 2001 to which the whole local community was invited.
