Walking Rainforest
Westlea Infants School, Swindon
To create a "Walking Rainforest" to be used in
The Swindon City Festival carnival, we took the handles off
15 sports umbrellas then pushed them into 5 foot long bamboos.
We then painted them with emulsion and attached real
leaves around the rims with double-sided tape.
The finished "trees" were adorned with vines,
monkeys and parrots the children had made.
