Artists in schools

No Added Sugar is a specialist participatory arts organisation managed by professional artists Toni and Gordon Dickinson. Our mission is to provide creative opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.

Our extensive experience and expertise as artists in schools helps children and teachers to realise untapped creative potential through in a number of ways, including participatory workshop programmes, artist in residency, commissions, cross-curricular work in schools and youth centres.

NAS have a strong record of working to wider community cohesion projects with families, young people and their communities.

“No Added Sugar are passionate about their art and their work with young people. This is infectious and inspires the most challenging participants to take part, engage fully and make the most of their time.”
Simone Matthews - SPLASH/Youth Schemes Coordinator

The staff and I at Eastrop and Southfield have been so impressed with the outcome of the projects recently led by Toni and Gordon. The children, from Reception to Year 6, all participated in a whole school project in which their skills were improved and love for the arts developed. Toni and Gordon’s inclusive practice ensured that every child felt valued and their artwork has been installed professionally for all to admire. Never a day goes by without someone commenting on how much they love what No Added Sugar have created with the children. Thank you Toni and Gordon!
